Interview Questions for Software Testing Engineers 

1.        Describe your working experience in software development and testing. Can you tell me about the projects you had experienced? What kind of techniques you used in your projects? How did you do testing in your projects? How do you make your test plan? 

2.        List and briefly describe the testing methods that you know of, and indicate which one/s you have experience with. 

Black Box Test ; White Box Test ; Security Test ; Reliability Test  ; Performance Test ; Installation Test      

Internationalization Test ; Consistence Test ; Unit Test  ; Integration Test 

3.        What testing tools do you know, and which one/s you have experience with?

  LoadRunner ; WinRunner ; SilkTest ; CppUnit ; JUnit…… 

4.        Describe what a test case is, and what contents does a test case typically include. What the purpose of a test case? 

5.        What are included in a Bug Report? 

6.        What operating system do you have hands-on experience? 

7.        Present your plan to test a can of Coca-Cola.  

8.        What is the must-have attributes for a successful testing professional?

(^^), I think if you want to answer these quesitons perfectly, you really need many more experiences in testing. Collecting experiences in ordinary time is the best way. Keep studying, collecting and thinking, maybe one year late, you will know how to answer these questions, especailly question 8.

这些问题看起来简单,但senior和junior的人回答肯定不一样.

answer question:

the below points is the must-attributes for a successful testing professional

1.strong technique background , include testing and developing skills

2.good experience in testing,

3.good team work

4.Positive attitude on testing and good patience

5.good english skills.
